Organic bismuth catalyst
MOFAN B2010 is a liquid yellowish organic bismuth catalyst. It can replace dibutyltin dilaurate in some polyurethane industries, such as PU leather resin, polyurethane elastomer, polyurethane prepolymer, and PU track. It is easily soluble in various solvent-based polyurethane systems.
● It can promote the -NCO-OH reaction and avoid the side reaction of NCO group. It can reduce the effect of water and -NCO group reaction (especially in the one-step system,it can reduce the generation of CO2).
● Organic acids such as oleic acid (or combined with organic bismuth catalyst) can promote the reaction of (secondary) amine-NCO group.
● In water-based PU dispersion, it helps to reduce the side reaction of water and NCO group。
●In a single-component system, the amines shielded by water are released to reduce the side reactions between water and NCO groups.
MOFAN B2010 is used for PU leather resin, polyurethane elastomer, polyurethane prepolymer, and PU track etc.
